My name is Kevin Smith, there’s a lot of us out there so I go by KevBro for sweet branding purposes.

I attended the UCLA Design | Media Arts program and upon graduation I immediately entered the professional world creating Key Art campaigns for the entertainment industry, aka movie posters. For the past two decades I’ve dedicated all creative energy towards this pursuit. There have been many fruits from this labor that you have probably seen in theaters, on billboards and mostly now as a digital thumbnail on your TV. It is a difficult and rewarding endeavor to create a static image that can encapsulate the feeling and vibe of an entire movie or series.

I find joy in making something from nothing. I find even more joy in creating something which my friends and peers can get stoked on. More often the hard work myself and my colleagues create doesn’t get seen as it takes hundreds and sometimes thousands of unique designs to land on a singular image or small campaign of art for a show or movie. Which in turn, brings a desire to carve out more free time to flex my personal creativity out in the world where everyone can see.

I’m a believer in NFT’s and digital objects that have provenance on a blockchain. Our world is only becoming more digital and blockchain technologies are the future for anyone creating art on a computer.
